The good news continues! Please join us in congratulating a duo of well-deserved promotions: Janice Harris to Albany Market President and Shannon Roeper to Albany Main Office Bank Manager!

Janice Harris was born and raised in Albany. She was Valedictorian of the 1977 graduating class of Clinton County High School. She has completed extensive bank-related trainings over her career, including a 2-year course for lenders at the Financial Management Institute in Bowling Green. However, her 42 years with the bank, and her experience working in almost every department, makes her knowledge of First & Farmers indispensable. From her early beginnings in the Bookkeeping department through her most recent positions as Chief Operations Officer and Albany Main Bank Manager, Janice has applied her calm diligence and attention to detail to every aspect of her job.

“I am extremely excited about becoming market area president for the Albany locations and want to thank the board of directors for giving me this opportunity and their confidence in me. I have been very fortunate during my banking career to work with and learn from not one Mr. Morgan, but two. When I was hired in 1978, N. L. Morgan, Jr. gave me some very good advice that I have always tried to follow and that was to learn everything possible about every position within the bank and be willing to work in any department and that has served me well,” stated Harris.

Albany Bancorp President, Steve U. Morgan stated, “I want to congratulate Janice on her well-deserved promotion to Albany Market President. She has the knowledge and background to lead the bank and continue to serve our community through quality customer service. It has been a real pleasure to work with Janice for the past 27 years.”

Shannon Roeper began training for her new role in the fall of 2018 when she stepped in to the position of Assistant Bank Manager for the Albany Main Office. “I am beyond blessed and grateful to be given this opportunity. I want to thank the board for trusting in me for this position. Our organization is a great one and I am so thankful to be a part of it,” stated Roeper.

Shannon was born and raised in Albany and is a 1998 graduate of Clinton County High School. She completed two years of KBA Banking School in 2015. Shannon started on the teller line at 19-years-old and has seen so many changes in her 21 years with the bank. Her heart is in lending and extending the best service possible to our customers. She looks forward to the challenge that this new leadership position will bring.

FFNB Albany Market President Janice Harris stated, “I want to congratulate Shannon on this much-deserved promotion to Albany Main Office Bank Manager. Shannon has built an excellent relationship with not only customers, but employees as well, and is very dedicated to First & Farmers National Bank. She has a genuine desire to help customers achieve their financial goals.”

Way to go, Janice & Shannon!!
